J joedodge Candiru MFK Member Oct 6, 2008 962 0 46 florida Nov 10, 2009 #1 im looking to buy a t5 HO fixture this weekend but bfor i do i was curious if i could still use my wooden canopy it encloses the whole top of the aquarium but has and open back on it. and is 5 inches high. will to much heat be generated.
