So I just picked up a new 150 gallon (5'x2'x2') with a 60" 4x35W T5 light fixture. I was looking to find some lightbulbs that looked similar to the Hagen PowerGlo and MarineGlo. From what I've found, it doesn't seem like Hagen makes them in this size. Anyone have any suggestions?

Whats the color temperature on the bulbs? match the color temperature and they should look the same. Is it more of a warm color you're looking for? Or is it more on the blue end?

I googled them and it says they come in 6700k color so get any other bulb rated that color and it will look pretty much the same. Also it is very hard to find 60" t5 lamps so you may have to settle for another color...

The only 60" t5 bulb I could find is here:

here you have to order them in a box of four or more because of special handling. They are for freshwater so they should be similar to the 6700k color you want. The extras you can save to use them later since you should generally change the bulbs once a year.

One question: You said the light is a 4 x 35 watt? Is that a typo because there are no 35 watt t5s and then you wouldn't need 60" bulbs... do you have a pic of the underside of the light?
