I was given a CAD Lighting raised hood for a rimless nano reef I have been cycling. The fixture is only 4x14 watt 24" T5. Is this way to "weak" to light any corals? or is it just bare minimum?

Could i install 24 watt bulbs in the hood even though its rated at 14 watt?

And it doesnt matter what corals, im talking about ANY.

it's fine for octocoral's and zoanthid's, palythoa's, but your only probably getting 2 watts a gallon you'll need at least 5 watt's a gallon for SPS, and LPS coral's you can upgrade to a HO T-5's and be fine.

With an upgrade of your lighting too, if 14 watt is the what it's rated on it then it is the maximum wattage your lighting can take. More than that, it will burn out.

I would say its fine for low light corals, but your going to want alot more for SPS, LPS and anything else with high light requirments.

But the better question is why was this thread resurrected, its clearly been aswered... like last year.
