Table Tennis AKA "Ping Pong"

I just took on Table tennis and invested in a decent paddle. Played basketball all my life and decided to try on Tennis/Table Tennis.

I wouldn't consider myself intermediate, but a little past the beginner stage. Learning to get more comfortable with all the strokes/forms of the game.

Is there anybody local to Southern California (preferably around Lakewood/Long Beach) that considers themself at least intermediate?

Got a really nice Kettler table and would love to play some more experienced people.

not in cali, but play table tennis. picked it up when i started my job here 4 years ago, about half the office plays. At first i thought it was crazy to hear people talk about spending more than 20 bucks on a paddle, nowadays i spend close to 50 just for the rubber on one side lol.

not in cali............but i play ping pong too! barely any of my friends play though, so there isn't much fun. good luck finding someone to play with!

"Gnip gnop" ? Grew up playing it! We had a table set up on our patio when I was a teenager.
