I have some tadpoles that I rescued from a man made pond that was drying up and I keep them in my feeder tank. They are probably bullfrogs,no limbs yet but I guess I wont be sure untill they become frogs,I keep them in my feeder tank for now where they eat flakes and sinking pellets.I would like to know if there is anything else I can feed them or what else I can do to help them along.I'm guessing that they wont become frogs untill spring or fall, any advice.

They'll do fine on that; just be sure that at least a large part of their diet is vegetable or algae based food. You can also give them boiled spinach or lettuce (dark green or red varieties). In your area it'll either be bullies or greens if they have any size; if they are small it is possible they are late-breeding leopards. Little else will be in the water this time of year. If left outdoors they would probably metamorphose in late spring, but being indoors they will develop faster.

You've pretty much got it coveed in addition to lettuce you could try feeding them pleco tabs/disks

Thanx for the advice bros,I will try to get pics up.

Late in the year for tadpoles isnt it?

They eat anything but flakes and fish pellets since contain protein gets them to grow faster.
If you feed raw piece of chicken, meat, etc they attack like piranhas granted its messy and requires water change.

I had Marine Toads in plastic bin in yard over summer the tadpoles in bin I fed cichlid food and they grew much faster than the others which were growing at same time in another vat of water which had only algae .

Many ate each other but no cannibals in the cichlid pellet bin.

they also make pellet food for tadpoles and aquatic frogs...don't recall the brand, but you can try feeding that
