just ordered 4 tagifugus for 10.00 each from tfd . they said they keep theres in complete freshwater. anyone know much about them as far as how they do in freshwater.
 
have you got a photo? Takifugu is a term used for a few different puffers.

If it's takifugu occelatus, (green and orange). it's high brackish, needs cool water. Hardly any have been kept for long in captivity.

They dont live for long in fresh, I give it 3 weeks max. You need high end brackish/marine set-up. the water must be kept 100% perfect. Its a tough fish to care for, buy something else
