Here is a brief video my mature pair of Inca Stone cichlids. The 90G tank is too busy for them to successfully put down a spawn. They are in with a mix of Chocolate cichlids (6), Caquetaia myersi (1), Thorichthys pasionis (4), and an exCichlasoma ornatum. When they do spawn, they will lay their eggs on a 'portable' object (leaf, thin piece of slate, small piece of driftwood) and then proceed to haul it around the tank. Once the eggs hatch, the parents 'mouthbrood' them. A very interesting adaptation ... very much like the Bujurquina genus.

One of my favorite oddball acaras. Too bad I didn't have room the last time they were available. How do they handle some of those rough customers you have them in with? (the cf ornatum especially)

They manage to keep out of harms way. There are lots of 'nooks and crannies' in there that they can go to but most of the time they're sailing about in the open. Most of the time they just fly under the radar. The lone 'ornatum' (6") is quite shy and only asserts himself at feeding time. They take the odd shot from the 'myersi' and I believe he thinks of them as potential snacks.

I saw a vid of pair hauling their egg-laden leaf around, it was so cute I'd like to get a pair. would they be ok housed with redheads & sevs?

lovely fish, a LFS in my area got some in and they were breeding like crazy in the store, I was very tempted to pick some up.

I think they would be fine with the 'Tapajos' and sevs. They seem to be able to carve out a spot for themselves in my tank, despite the presence of several other larger and more aggressive fish.

not too aggressive for geos?

I really don't find them aggressive at all. They show some aggression towards their own types but with other species, not much at all. They aren't very big at full size either (~5" M, ~4" F)
