Tail is turning white.. and some fluff

the tip of my 20" red's tail is losing colour. what should i do?

also, i see this grayish stuff on some scales, which makes it scratch on the overflow. from looking around google, i think my fish has " Water Mycosis" am i right?

the tail turned whitish? i see the fins intact, its OK .... some red developed this when reached adult stage.
abt the grayish stuff ... just cant see it, could be fungus.

the grayish stuff is on its back. its just a very thin layer of it, you can see it best on the last pic.
