Tail nippers??

so in my 230g, someone is tearing up my geos tails, i thought it could be dominance being worked out, but their tails continue to be shredded. Who could it be?
I believe its one of these:
archocentrus nanoluteus
sajica
Rainbow cichlid

I'll put my money on it's the other geo's doing it.

All my steiny's do is chase eachother around :/

that sucks, i couldnt tell you what it is. my roommate thought figure 8s were cute and she put one in my 40g with my peacock cichlid and various others and that little punk started nipping tails and i took him back

Ya, maybe it is still, i hope not. They are tearing each other up. I figured it was one of the central americans.

Tomorrow morning i am going to watch them. I was just hoping for an idea.

The aggression towards it's own kind won't stop, but the tail nipping will decrease dramatically as they age, fortunatly.

ya, I know they will calm down a little with each other, i just hate seeing their tales torn apart.
