My 2 month old gold dust molly has a very noticeable problem. Its tail is crooked up, as in straight up 90 degrees. Is this fixable or what should I do if not?
Here's an example of what I'm talking about: http://www.fishchannel.com/images/article-images/freshwater-aquariums/deform-500.jpg
It looks like this, but is more angled. When it swims, it looks like a V with fins and eyes. I take very close care of my water, but went on a 3 day vacation and came home to this. It's tail was straight 3 days ago.The behavior doesn't seem to have changed though, except for now it comes to the top to eat instead of hide among the rocks. Other than that, everything else looks normal.
Can anybody diagnose this and tell me what I should do about it?
