what the heck is this??? this might be easy for most of you guys, but its colors turned out cool and very different from others of the same batch so i thought i'd share with you guys. oh yeah and please excuse the dirty glass and plants.

yea not quite. it's actually a blood parrot/flowerhorn. all of the other offsprings took on the more reddish color and flowers from the father and this little guy is different.

hmm..i had never heard of those until now. he does kinda look like one of those, except i'm pretty sure of its parents. a friend gave me a few of these guys to me to raise and i've seen both of the parents. i had just thought it might grow up to look more like the mom (blood parrot). but thanks for suggestion. i'll update with more pictures as it gets bigger and if its colors change.
