Saw that, pretty embarrassing for both, especially the guy that started it. The other guy should have laid off when the blood started and resistance stopped. To many parents want to relive their sport "glory" vicariously through their kids. And you end up with this sort of thing, sad.
 
The video was cut short right after the fight but the guy with the upper hand looked as if he was backing off and trying to get up.The busted up guy must not have been involved in very many fistfights as he actually seemed to think he would be allowed to pick up whatever it was that he dropped on the ground. He might have fared better had he stayed focused.

What did you see in the video that showed it was about reliving their glory sport days? as a coach and raising my own athlete, I can tell you there's many times I've wanted to hit other parents/fans with a stiff dose of act right and it has nothing to do with wanting my kids/daughter to succeed and relive my glory days. Some people are just douche bags and have no etiquette/common sense and all you can do is try to ignore them. See how well you can ignore them when it starts to effect the children that are just trying to have fun.

I wouldn't have minded throwing down with my kids coach this year
 
Well, they both seemed to personally invested in the situation and not setting a good example for their kids. I am sorry if I touched a nerve with you, I have been deeply offended by other parent's behaviors as well but I didn't start a brawl over it.

No nerve hit. I just find it amusing that they're "living vicariously through their kids" without knowing the full story. You may be right but wouldn't surprise me if those 2 fought over the last $6 tupperware set at Walmart on black Friday.

Epic assessment , those blue light specials can really set some people off!

My original comment was perhaps a bit of a generalization but I see it frequently enough to be aware of it.
