Taking my road test tomm so anybody maybe have any tips. Things I should/should not do? I am proly doin the most right now.

Uhhh ima male... why does that matter?

^Either that or I was just making sure you weren't a female, because women are genetically predisposed to fail at driving. Depth perception or something, I don't know. But ya, Fishmaster's sounds way better.

-Know your hand signals left and right.
-Bring proof of insurance for the car you are going to use for the test.
-Look at the mirrors even though when you dont need to.
-Be more observant of your surroundings
-Dont hit the curb (automatic fail, my cousin did that)
-When you stop at the stop sign dont go over the white lines. Stop behind the white lines for 4 seconds then drive up slowly to check your blind spots. When its safe drive.(This is what I got docked off points for)
-Put two hands on the steering wheel!
-Be friendly to the instructor ;)

Thanks guys. I really don't want to fail because then I will have to wait another couple months to take it again. My biggest problems are staying under the speed limit and stopping at stop signs.

If you have practiced driving and have confidence you drive good, do the same during the test. In other words, drive during the test just as you would when you went out on your practices. Don't do anything different just cause an instructor is sitting next to you. Kinda pretend they are not there, but keep it in your mind they are there too (if you know what I mean). Just remember the instructor just needs to see you are a safe and alert driver. Being safe is their priority. But don't drive too careful/cautious cause this can mark your scores down too. What I mean is don't drive too slow, keep up with the speed limit. Always look in your mirrors (check blindspots too), signal when making turns, and follow their instructions well. It's only gonna be about a 15-20 minute drive. Also, make sure your horn, hazard lights, defogger, and all that other stuff is working and you know where it is all located. That is the very first thing they are gonna make you go through. And if you fail that the won't even take you on the road to do the test. Also make sure you put your seat belt on too before you take off. And know your hand signals too jsut in case they may ask you to do the hand signals.

Yep both hands on the wheel at all times too. I forgot to mention that.

Just be smooth about it. When you stop and accelerate don't be too abrupt about it. You want to ease into it. Make the ride as smooth and comfortable as possible to the instructor. And when you stop at a stop sign make sure to look around and wait a few seconds before taking off. Look left, right, and center a few times just to let them see you are really being careful. They are really gonna pay attention to how well you pay attention to the road and other cars.
