Can anyone give me some tips on how to take some nice photos??

Everytime i try to take one they move or the glass reflecks and yer problems =.=~~~

Link me to like a thread or some advice would be nice. I really want to be able to show people how my fish look ^^

My best advice: TONS of light on top of the tank.

i connect the zoom to the glass, it works...:character0004:

oh my ><!

i thought it had more to do with shutter speeds and techniques... :S

Here's what I do: I turn the tank lights on and my camera flash off and put my camera on a tripod that I bought for $3 from Goodwill. On my Fuji digital camera, when you have the flash off, it automatically slows down the shutter speed. As far as I know, there's no way to change this "feature", so if there's any movement at all there will be motion blurs.

But if the fish are still, I generally get good photos. Lately they've been over exposed b/c of the slow shutter speed and bright lights. I just need to turn off some of the lights though.

Also, I have to take a LOT of pictures and I only get a few good ones.

Maybe this will help you.

It does, but those all change with the lighting and other variables.

Yer u guys are right. ITs jus so hard to get those really good shots.

I wanted to post a pic for POTM :(

But seeing how those photos are sooo professional its hard to even get something close.

I mite invest in one of those camera's that can adjust ur shutter speeds and stuff.

Any1 kno what i should do with the camera?

I've guessing fast shutterspeeds and a steady hand/tri pod yes?
