My friend has a African Spurr Thigh Tortoise but he bought it off a friend that was going to move to Japan. And I guess you can't bring sulcatas to Japan.
I might move to Japan in a few years and when I do I want to bring along my Sonora Mud Turtle. But are there anyone experienced in traveling with their turtle/tortoise?
