Tall Tank

I have been thinking about building a tank with the internal dimensions being 24"L x 24"W x 30"H (the waterline would actually be at 27") with glass on all 4 sides. Would I be able to use 1/4" glass on all 4 sides if the glass dimesions were 20"W x 24"H?

1/4" glass would be to tin to handle the pressure from a 30" tall tank.

You will need at least 1/2" glass.

the calculator says 1/4 inch would work at that depth at 24" wide but super low safety factor. I wouldn't. I think 1/2 might be overkill (which is always good) 3/8" would work well at 24" wide.
