Tame eels?

Do other species beside fire eels get this tame? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ziVuJmyR1s) There are tons of videos on YouTube with fire eels that are very tame, and not many of other species.

Specifically do the African eels get tame?

My M. circumcinctus is tame in that he knows if give the food and he will come out when he sees me, but not that as tame as many fire eels.

Hey Quo for me it was all about trust with the fish itself, I got to the point where my old Zigzag eel would come wrap himself in my hands looking for worms I raised the zigzag and my fire eel from about 2 inches, that was until the zigzag slipped out of a small filter gap. But my fire eel seemed a lot more friendly and less hyper overall. But it is possible
