Gents,
I bought rotala a few months ago. It was like $1.50 and a nice red color, so I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say, it's doing really well in my tank. The problem is that, despite almost daily pruning, it turns into a tangled, rooty, bent over mess.
I am about to get rid of it, but I figure I'll give it one more big trimming and one more chance to behave. Do you guys have any tips on keeping it looking sharp? I am mostly looking to prevent the shady center from turning into a terrible leafless blob.
