Tandanus

My LFS got a small catfish in that looks like a tandanus tandanus but it doest have a fin on top of its body. It looks similar to a tandanus bustocki as well. If anyone has any info on these (temperment and max size would be great) I would appreciate it.
Also, is $15 a decent price? Its an awesome looking little catfish. I've never seen one like it before. Thanks in advance!

i imagine the care for the two would be similar, but thats an ASSUMPTION. TandanusTandanus seems to get a whole lot bigger than the other Tandanus sp. you mentioned which apparently maxs out about 50cm according to fishbase

Planet Catfish is excellent but i don't always find FishBase to be reliable and give sizes way off what they actually are. Go by the Planet Catfish info as that excellent.
