Hi everyone, I just want to know which cichlid species would be well suited for a 29g, I know it isn't large enough for some of the more traditional choices, but I am open to suggestions and opinions on what I can keep. I've had this aquarium for quite a while now trying to figure out what will being going in to it, and after much debate I have decided to go with Tanganyikan Cichlids. I have a slight fascination for some of the smaller shell dwelling species as well as the mid-sized open water cichlids such as L. Brichardi, so my true question would be; is even possible to maintain some sort of cichlid community in such a small aquarium? upgrading isn't a possiblity due to the fact that this aquarium is located within my bedroom and given all the furniture present, only fits in a certain place in the room.

I would get some Julidochromis, Brichardi, or Leleupi. They all stay small. There are several different colorful Julies. I have Leleupi and Daffodil Brichardi in my Tanganyika tank. They hold there own with much much larger Fronts.

Both great suggestions, thanks guys :)
