Haven't had tangs in quite a few years but thinking about using a standard 65g (36x18x24) for them. I just picked up about a dozen Mulitis, so those are a must. I have always wanted comps or calvus but I'm honestly not really sure of the difference between them and which would be best for my tank. Would I have room for another species in addition to the multis/calvus or comps? I like buecheri and Julies.

Also wondering the best way to aquascape, anyone have pics of their 65g tang tank? Since it is tall, I'm not quite sure how to rock scape it to fill the height.

hi. I'm no expert, but from what I've read, there are only minor differences between Calvus' and Comps (scales on head, ...). I think either would be good (I have black calvus). 12 multis seem like a lot to me. I have 6 similis and 6 speciosus in a 125 and the similis really took over the bottom. Interesting behaviors for sure though! If you make lots of caves, etc. it would try a few julies of one variety too. Good luck!
