I’m considering setting up a 125g Tanganiykan tank in the future.

6 Frontosa Blue Zaire
1 Elipsifer Eel
6 Syno Petricola

Any reason this wouldn’t work? Are Elipsifer eels fairly interactive?

In my opinion a 125 is not big enough for Frontosa unless the 125 is being used temporarily as they grow out.

Even if you can manage the males aggression you don't want a 8"+ gibberosa getting spooked and darting around in this tank.

Personally I think for a group of 6 adult frontosa you need a 8ft tank. Something like 8’x 2’ or bigger.
If that size tank is unattainable, you can still have a community setup. Depending on what size tank you get, you may need to reduce the number of frontosa. You might have to choose only 1 or 2 show piece fronts. In addition you can add a couple nice calvus to go with the cats and eel.

How about a 210?

Not for 6. Many years ago a buddy had a group of fronts (full size) in a 1000 gallon tank. It was an incredible sight.
