Here is my Tangy tank. I have 4 Frontosa, 1 Black Calvus, 1 Compressiceps, 1 Bichardi, & 2 Tetracanthus. I also have 2 Plecos (which i hate) & 4 Mystery snails. Lighting is 1 50/50 Actinic with a 10000K Daylight bulb. Pool filter sand (which is awsome) some fake plants for color. i know that all you FWLP people are gonna say thats not a biotope because you have fake plants DURRDURR. get over it, i dont like live plants. anyway Im wanting to get 2 Masked Julies and 2 Leleupi's. im probably going to have to get rid of 2 of my Frontosa's to make some room (which sucks) but you gotta do what ya gotta do. fill free to leave ideas or pics of your tanks for all to compare.

ive looked everywhere for fake plants that would look somewhat natural in a non-plant environment. all rock aquarium just looks so bland and colorless. any ideas please send pics. thanks

can you give me some info on these live plants. lighting ETC. im not a big fan of leaving my lights on all day. i also have 4 live snails in my tank, wont the snails eat the plants? also does it matter of the placment of the plants? i see yours are in the rock, so its not necessary to put them in sand? the lighting i have now is 1 50/50 and the other 10000K, and i would hate to use these all day, i would hate to burn out a $40 light for a plant. anyway please write me back. your tanks look awsome BTW
