I just wanted to say some positive comments on Kevin the new owner of Tangled up in cichlids.
A few months ago I posted about my frustrations over a UPS order that was lost in transit. However, the order eventually arrived alive and well after 4 days!
Since then I have ordered twice more from Kevin at Tangled up in cichlids.
His packaging techniques are second to none. The standard cardboard box is well taped. There are live fish stickers on every side of the box, that even a over worked ups driver couldn't miss. Inside is the styrofoam box, that is again taped up like fort Knox.
Btw.. there is a protective layer of foam both below and above the styrofoam box.
Inside the styrofoam box is a carefully taped heat pack.
Then the fish is triple bagged! The bags are very high quality and super thick.
I don't know how thick the plastic bags are but they are several mm thick.
Each individual bag is securely closes with thick tightly wound rubber band. The inner most bag is partially wrapped along the outside with newspaper.
Aside from the excellent packaging Kevin has responded to email questions very quickly.
If you have ordered from him you all allready know this.
If you haven't ordered yet rest assured that his business is Rock solid and you won't be disappointed.
His stock list continues to grow and has all the tough to find CA and SA cichlids we all love.
