okay i have been noticing that every time i do a water change to my 30g, my water level drop a good 5-6 inches from top, im guessing its losing water from a leak, every damn time, it drops that same amount. but wat gets me the most is the amount of calcium build up that continuously grows, the more i do water changes the more calcium builds up. wat can i do ????

in the tank i got 1 sanagal 6" ,2 Clown loaches 4",2 common pleco 4", 1 convict 5"

not at all, i have placed newspaper around the tank, and none of it gets wet

I would top it off daily and continue to do your regular water changes.. Sound like you afre haing major evaporation..

well its a glass top, 2 sections front and back piece with the standard back plastic thingy, but it has no platic hinge in the middle between both glasses, the light is some wat used cuz i placed the tank where it gets some sun light. and during the night, i turn on the moon light which is kinda of a purple look.
