peace be upon you guys

Hi guys. Right now I have a 2ft with 2ornates, 1 sen, 1 albino sen, 1 endi, 1 lap and a del. All average length about 3-4". I know, I know...eventually I have to get a bigger tank. To be honest, so far I've started fish keeping about 6 months ago and 2ft is the biggest I've invested in. From neon tetras to bichirs.

If I were to invest in either 4x2x2ft or 5x2x2 and running on 2canisters i.e eheim classic 2217 - would this be idealistic?
Probably some of you willing to share your tank size and filter setup.:naughty:

Thanks in advance

I'd go with the 5x2x2 and put 2 Fx5s on it:)

X3

or rena XP3 or XP 4 work quite well also. but FX5 are your best bet, atleast having one with a second smaller filter even. thats ideal :D

A 72X18X21 2 EHIEM CANISTER 2217 AND 2028 ALSO 84X28X20 2 EHIEM 2260 CANISTER. 6 YEARS NOT A PROBLEM.

I'd go with the 5x2x2 also, with two of the largest cannister filters you can afford.

Can always upgrade later.

I've got a 75 gallon tank with a 100 galon rated Rena filstar canister filter and your garden variety air pump driven under gravel filter. The tank has close to 20 community fish and I never had any water quality issues, even with a 20" arowana living there (temporarily). I guess my point is that you can always throw more money at your tank if you want to. As far as size, certainly get the biggest one thats in the budget. Good luck
