I have 2 RPB in a 75 gallon tank. They sometimes nipped at each other. I remembered reading that you should have a lot of plants in their tank so that they dont see each other all the time. So I made a wall of plants up the middle of the tank. They seem to not fight as much but is there anything wrong with doing this. They used to hang out all the time, but now they spend time apart, on either side of the plant barrier a lot. Is the wall of plants a good idea?

Try adding at least one more RBP. You have a big enough tank to do it plus Pygos tend to fight less if there is more then two. Also add a powerhead in case you dont have one@
I stopped at the first sentence...Due to territorial disputes...Always have three or more....Never two...
Ok I will try to add another as soon as possible. And yes I have a powerhead in the tank, 2 actually, connected to undergravel.
at various times of my piranha keeping i had 2 p's in a tank with no major problems so 2 can be done but adding another (when you find one of similar size) just evens out aggression and lessens the odds of major injury.

I will try to buy one asap, my LFS had some that were almost the exact same size for $30 a pop. Should I give them anywhere to hide? All I have in the tank right now is the wall of plants and some drift wood that is not big enough for them. Maybe a flower pot or two?
Were i work (a LFS) were have 2 smaller RBP in i think 30 maybe a lil smaller. I heard they were wild caught and someone traded em in, Ive been thinkin about getting them there is only 2 of them, and they never fight, how big a tank would i need for these 2 badasses?
