Alright, I am just wondering what type of tanks you all have? I have had some pretty bad experinces with perfecto tanks, but the issue I have is that the tanks are cheap in price, but they seem to be very poorly made.
After a few months I have heard of many of the larger tanks failing at the bottom seams. Has anyone else had issues of their tanks and what brands were they?

I have an Oceanic, a Perfecto and a Top Fin. The Perfecto has been up for about eight years with no problems.

I have 3 ALL-GLASS (AGA). No Complaints.

I have aga, perfecto, and oceanic. I have yet to have a new tank fail.

I have a Fujimoto 180g, and it's been moved from long beach, to west covina, to san dimas, to monrovia, then back to west covina, and through all that the only damage was my fault when loading it onto a truck, I let the tank slip and when the bottom corner hit the concrete, the black plastic molding around the edged partially came off, but not fully.

No leaks, no cracks. I've never seen such a well put together brace in the center of the tank (3 layers of glass, with thin glass strips supporting where the brace connects to the glass, as well as on the ends of the tank.

I will. :)

99% of the time a tank fails it is due to bad tank handling or imperfections in the stand that it is placed on.

The ones I have seen had nothing to do with the tank stands. One was my own and I built my own stand but it is dead level, and fits perfect under the tank.
AND they all happend to be Perfecto tanks. Maybe just seen the few bad ones right here. (2 of the three tanks were not my own but customers)

New Perfecto tanks have a warranty (not the factory 2nds) so unless they blew out, it should be an easy fix/replacment.
