This is the starting process of my monster tank build. I will be adding photos as the job unfolds. Right now the stand has been modified with full foot tubing. I have also routed a water line in the room for an auto drip system. Slow process but it coming. I have no building/mechnical skills so please bare with me:ROFL:. Won't be the pretties monster tank build but hopefully is will be functional.

Yes it took 10 of us to get it in the house..

I've heard of over filtration but over supporting!!! lol I can see why it took 10 of you to get that tank in the house!! Any pics of the tank going on that massive stand?

No, that is the biggest hold up, still wating on the tank. Tank builder are funny like that, when they are trying to get your money, they swear up and down they can complete the job by a certain time, soon as you put the money down and it time for them to produce, its always something of a different story. Very aggravation to say the least. Right now the company is saying they are two weeks behind schedule, mind you it has been three weeks since that converstaion and I still have not heard from anyone. I am going to go one step further andl give them another week which will make it a month behind schedule, an then the disgruntle customer will come out of me.. :irked::irked:

I wish you the best of luck. Looks to be a pretty awesome project.
Thanks, but to be honest it's a rather typical tank, there are plenty other on here that have the excat same set up ans some much better and creative. Mines not really different, but I know people like pictures as i do, so since I have viewed a many pictures of set-ups, I thought I'd pay the same respect an post my pictures in the event anyone has any questions.

Nice! The stand looks a million times better! :headbang2

Did you end up having to level it?

I forgot if you already mentioned it, but what type of overflows are you going to be using? Is the tank going to come pre-drilled, or are you drilling holes?

I am in the process of leveling it now. Though it has footing alomg the full bottom, it still has to be leveled. I have to level the front end, then add shims to parts of the stand that's not completely on the floor. Next I'll be securing the plywood to the bottom of the stand with brackets so it does not slide when trying to put the tank in place.
The tank is pre drilled with overflows on each end, outside of the tank. That way i loose no footprint.
