My Aro deeply hates me for putting him in a new tank. He's been spazzing out since I started the move.
First, I siphoned the water off into blue totes. Then I stopped at water being just deep enough to cover the Aro with an inch or two to spare. There's the Aro, Spazzing, splashing, jumping, absolutely sure I was trying to kill him.
I walk back in the room and now my boyfriend is highly interested in the normally boring aquarium antics that go on in the house. He's got both hands in there and he's trying to grab the 16" slippery wet fish with bare hands! OMG! I start to protest and he says, "I got it" after about 15 I got it's and me saying, don't hurt my fish! I got a garbage bag doubled up and into the boyfriends hands. Scoop, fish busts right out. Flop, splash, giggle, wish I wasn't too wet to grab the camera, finally the Aro gets moved into a tote.
Then I already had the tank as ready as it could be, it still had to be lifted up on the stand. I worked really fast, but not fast enough. The Aro is in the bin, with a lid, and a bucket of water on the top splashing and thrashing the whole time. Mistake #2 again I leave the room. I come back in the room and hear THUNK and Aro is in the new tank (That isn't ready yet, still only 1/3 full of water), My sweet helpful boyfriend tried to pour the fish from a bucket into the tank, the fish wouldn't have any part of this kind gesture, he comes flying out of the bucket and smacks his head on the edge of the tank and swandives into the new tank. With little water. Oh well, he lived. Lost the pleco for awhile, but found and rescued him. So no wonder my Aro is mad, but I would think today he would get over it. He'll eat no problem and params are good, so it was dress rehearsal for the 150 soon, and quite entertaining as well.

...couples and their fish. One knows what their doing and the other trying to help and jacks things up cause he doesnt know anything about fish. I think I'll write a screenplay for this and make a million pennies.
