How many have ever had a problem with an aro jumping out while cleaning the tank. I've heard they are jumpers so I get abit nervous with the lid open while doing water changes. My guys are still little but are very active.

happened to me twice while doing water changes. pretty freakin hard to pick them up with ur bare hands.
but now he is calm and doesnt jump

Happend to me also twice while I was changing the water and if I want to clean the glass I 've to do it very slowly... very very slowly...

mine starts getting nervous when i do big water changes, im talking 10% water left in the tank.

Mine never seems to care. He just brushes against my arm.

I work opposite the side of the tank he's on. When I ready for the other half, I wait until he goes to the other side. He's learned to stay over there until I'm finished with that side. He's pretty calm anyway, never jumps unless you really scare the crap out of him.

Cover half the tank and work the other half when you're done. Another way is to have a magnet scrube in there.:)
