Hi everyone please don't judge the idea I think it would be really cool to be able to create a computer desk that is also a fish tank. I am finishing my basement atm and will hopefully build the tank down there when it is all complete. Ill be trying to draw up some designs all your tips would be appreciated. I need to decide between plywood, acrylic, and glass.

As a desk only thick acrylic would work in my opinion. Why not just have tanks around the desk? Custom tanks are expensive. I would rather have a 6 foot tank on the back of the desk and a tank to the side.
