Tank Covers to keep "jumpers" in and the hot air out???? HELP!

I currently have a planted 20g long and its been doing great but the glass top i have is traping the warm/hot air in and my temp is high. If I remove the glass top and set my lights to the top of the canopy, my fish jump out. (no casualites as of yet)

I went out and bought a reptile screen top and cut it to fit my filtration but its a tad too big now and my canopy will not go back on evenly!!!

anyone have suggestions on where I could either build or buy something made for this???

You can try using egg crate (light diffussers SP??) from HD or lowes and just cut it down to size. I use this to cover the small openings around any HOB I have on thanks that have plastic tops not glass tops.

Egg crates, great idea! I did buy another screen top but havent cut into it just yet....

yep egg crates the are good ! try get something heavy on it so the jumper bust out the tank =)
