So I've been dosing seachem stability for 4 days and this is the results after the 4th day, I'll continue dosing the full 7 days regardless I guess I'm just color blind because the API test chart has a million shades of orange. The nitrites where at .25ppm yesterday and now their at 0 and the nitrates appear to be 5ppm but can't tell if that's light orange or dark yellow

If you are dosing ammonia or have a source of it, and the ammonia tests at 0, nitrite tests at 0, and nitrate is rising, consistently as you keep adding ammonia, then you are cycled. Long story short.

thanks! I had some 4-5" fish in there while the dosing began, nitrites rose to .25 ppm than today they are at 0 and the nitrates appear to be at 5ppm i just can't clarify if it's light orange or dark yellow I'll post the pic just to be sure I appreciate the quick response though

Is stability a colony of bacteria? I've never used that product. The ones I have used, like Dr. Tim's, work pretty much instantly, then it takes a week or so for the population to match the amount of ammonia your fish produce. But the ammonia source needs to be constant- are the fish still in there?

Yes stability is like that there's lots of people on here that have done it and had great success so I figured I'd give it a try

Yea fish are in the tank per directions I've monitored the parameters and dosed safe to detoxify ammonia and nitrites as needed.
