alright i am looking to upgrade tanks fairly soon for my current stock in my 46gal bowfront, all the fish are still juvies but are growing steadily. I was wondering if I should just jump on a 55 or wait a little while until I find a 75 and then buy it?

Current Stock:
Firemouth Cichlids x5 1-3" Jewel Cichlid 1.5" Dwarf African Cichlid 1"
Serpae Tetras x4 <1" Tiger Barbs x4 <1" Yoyo Loach 1.5"
Yellow Tail Eel 4" Raphael Cat 3" Banjo Cat 3"
Clown Pleco 2.5" BGK 5.5"

You'll need something larger than a 55 or a 75 to house all of these fish together long-term. So if a 75 is the largest that you can get at this time, you should take that option and then get something larger as the fish continue to grow.

if i get a 75 i was planning on splitting the fish between that and the 46 with only a pair of cichlids and the community type fish being in it and the bgk and the other cichlids going in the 75

75. haveing had a 55 and a 75... I'll never have a 55 again if I can help it.
