Tank decor = aggression

Does having less things in the tank ie a more open scaping cause a lot more glass banging/ patrolling of the tank

My rhom is in a planted tank at the moment and considering a rescape in the new year to more open will this cause a change in behaviour. At the moment he hides alot.

Its my understanding that breaking up the lines of sight help reduce agression. BUT I do think that it simply also depends on what type of fish you have....

piranha are naturaly skiddish fish, the reason he hides alot is simply becuase he can...

when you change to a different open setup you will probly notice he will get scared easier

the breaking the line of sight is for use with multiple fish when they fight

piranhas use it so they cant see you basically

This statement is very confusing. Are you saying that you put aggresive fish together just to see who will survive? Then do you gloat about it and come to the forums to brag about your own cruel behavior?

maybe it's just me, but i'd really like to see some pics of your setup and these fish that you keep raving about in every post...
