Tank design for aro.. feedback welcome

I am thinking of designing my next tank to be a 'dual tank'
was thinking 3m long, 1m wide, 70cm high.

split in the middle, shares the same filter sump, overflow in each corner.

the tnak will be divided in the middle so i can put a red and a gold arowana in each side.
each tank will have a different theme.

any feedback on this tank.

approx 1000L per side.

That sounds cool. But I bet that you'll want to give the fish more space once they get big- if you haven't already bought the tank might as well make it 4-5m long so the fish won't be as cramped. Don't forget to post pics up here when this tank gets done.

What sort of different scaping do you have in mind? Rocks and driftwood on one side and lots of plants on the other could look cool.
