Hello all, now that I have moved I want to try to start on diy tanks... a 75 gallon, a 180, and a ?

I would like to know the dimensions for a 75, 180 and the last one I want to make an aro tank but I am not sure how big it would have to be

for the 75, 180, and ? Tank I would like wide dimensions please.. Thanks!

How about you tell Us what the demensions are that your looking for ... I mean who cares if it's a 75 , 80 or a 180 - 200 .... it's all about the size of the space you have to put it in and how much of that space you want to fill up with one tank :D

Standard demensions are 48" x 21" x 18" for the 75g and 6' x 2' x 2' for the 180. If ya gonna make it for an silver aro then 96" x 30" x 24" would make for a nice tank, go 96" x 36" x 30" would make for an awesome tank.

96x36x30 would be awesome! I just hope you have long arms, I would rather a 24 inch height, so i could easily reach everywhere.

96x42x24 = 420G tho! Would be a sick stingray tank!

Well, if you want to put it that way basslover, lol, I have the basement which is about 16 ft x 12 ft? nice small comfy basement

I want to try to line up the wall with tanks like a "fish room" that everyone has

I would prefer wide sizes and for the aro tank.. I was thinking black aros which I believe are bigger at max length than silvers

silvers are the largest unless you count arapima. blacks grow to the same lenght supposedly but i have never heard of one as large as some silvers i have seen and silvers are more bulkier, blacks a little more streamlined.

I want to try to get a few aros and then grow them out and end up with 2... hopefully a pair.. which is almost IMPOSSIBLE which I know.... but hey, I can dream =D

ok for those dreams and hopes.. u need the dimensions i said...and DOUBLE THEM if not TRIPLE!
