Hi there quick question i'm sorry if its already been asked but i'm still fairly new on here.

Does any one know where i could get a 24inch by 24 inch tank divider for my 125G tank -i'm in the UK by the way - i was hoping to find one ready made - the only ones i can find are way two small .

Or has anyone made one & if so how did you get in to stay in place - the tank is already running so i would need to be able to fit it with the water in !!

Thanks Guys any help would be great :cool:

I got a link from someone of how to make a sturdy divider with .5" Pvc and egg crate. I made a few. Fairly easy but I do not have the step by step. I will take a few shots and walk you through it the best I can.

Camera is on the fritz so this is the only shot I had stored. If you can get a general idea of how it is setup then it shouldnt be too hard.

The materials I used to make one are: .5 Pvc (you will probably need a whole length if you are going 24" X 24". 2X .5" elbows, 2X .5" Tee connections, eggcrate, and zip ties to hold it all together.

I measured the tank widthwise and cut a length that would fit sucurely once the elbows were attached. Then I cut two legths that would go from the elbows to connect with the tee's at the bottom. Then I cut 4X 8" lengths that serve as legs to keep the divider from tipping. Attach the eggcrate with zipties. If you look at the picture you can see where everything goes.

My suggestion would be to attach the legs to the Tee connection first and put them in the tank in such a way that you can slip the body of the divider right into the holes. I have a 30" high tank and it was really a hassle trying to get the first set of legs in. When I did the 2nd one i put the tee in first and it was much easier. Hope I didnt confuse you. Let me know if this helped
