What do y'all use for tank dividers? Any time I've looked LFS don't have any or petsmart has one so flimsy I'd be better off piling rocks to make a tank divider. Currently I'm using an old underground filter panel turned side ways... Looking for some idea on how to make a better one.

I also use egg crate. Here's how I do it.

I always use horizontal pieces on the bottom that rocks can be put on to help stabilize.
I also put vertical pieces running perpendicular to the main piece.

I also like to notch out pieces that wedge into the tank frame for extra holding power.

at Lowe's/Home Depot, they always have these white eggcrate grills in the lighting section. They're used to cover flourescent ceiling lights. Pretty sure that's where everybody gets their dividers. You won't find them at the LFS for some odd reason. They could probably stock a few and sell em for a huge markup.

You could check out the suction cup divider holders on ebay. I use .25" acrylic and 4 of the suction cup holders. Hold strong and not that visible once in the water.

Also have used egg crate, works good for cheap.

I used to use Glass panes for my tanks as dividers...but it very cumbersome...chances of it falling either ways due to weight if not secured properly was high and also the breadth of the tank was also a limiting factor.....
