Noticed that my tank seems to have dropped one side about 2/3mm on the right hand side how serious could this be will monitor it closely now to see if it moves more
The side of the tank is hanging over the cabinet 2/3mm

I don’t know how serious it is but try to rectify it or at least figure out the cause as soon as possible or it will constantly be in the back of your mind that every time you leave the house you will come home to a flood.
Believe me, I went through a similar thing years ago with a stand that kept making a creaking sound. It was stressing me so much with the thought it would collapse one day I ended up replacing it and had the first good night sleep in months.

I would begin by checking if the floor is level or the stand is separating at 1 of coursethe joins.

First is the left side and the second is the right of the tank water level in tank is not straight either

Welcome aboard
Is it a cabinet and not a stand built for a aquarium. If not a aquarium stand I suggest getting the aquarium off the cabinet asap.

I agree with Ogertron3000 Ogertron3000

Not sure what it’s made of it’s not wet any we’re I can see it’s excellent condition still been welll looked after

Yeah, those pics tell me nothing. But if this gap or irregularity or whatever it is has appeared recently, then something has changed; the stand itself, the floor, whatever. And that change may be ongoing and worsening. I would get that tank emptied and off that stand immediately.

I'm pretty sure that is a particle-board stand. I still cannot believe how many of those things are made and sold for aquarium use. In terms of the completely inappropriate application of the material for the purpose, they make about as much sense to me as building a stand out of stacked cubes of sugar. Might be fine until it gets wet, but then...

I dunno, maybe I'm the only klutz on the planet who always somehow manages to have a splash or spill on my aquarium stands.
