Tank flow rate?

Hello all. I have a 9x4.5x3 tropical pond in which I breed stingrays. I'm going to add a 300 litre tank next to it to move my pups into when they are born. I will be running this tank as part of the pond. So my question is how much flow would I need to get through this tank to keep it healthy? What sized pump do I need? Is 3x or 4x turnover an hour sufficient?
Please ask for any other info you might need.

I thought that was if it was going through filtration. This is just already clean water being pumped in and overflowing back to the pond.

You do not high flow on the additional tank.....imo...even 1x flow is fine. It depends on how much u plan to feed the newborns. The more flow the better but you don't want too much where they can't settle down.
