So I have a 150gal tank. It's filter is a fx5. I'm going to throwing one more filter via aqua 750 on it but my dilemma is. I put a very large piece of woo I the tank and it catches alot of debri so I feel like the flow of the tank is being drastically backed up from the wood so I put in a fan rated 1,200 gph. And it's working decent my problem is on the opposite Side the water dosnt flow as fast cuz the wood in the middle should I get another fan blowing the other way? Or am inputting way to much current in my tank? It's got CL. A dat and 5 discus. All of whom do not seem to mind the current amount of flow

I've had too much flow in a tank before - it was a small sump, quick cycle over and lots of internal flow - I would have reduced the amount of flow and also not done too much flow again - but i took the tank down

discus dont like that much flow anyway

I'd be careful because if u buy a product you wont notice too much flow initally, but the fish could get tired of it over a period of time - especially low flow fish
