tank foot print

I'll be starting to make a tank for my Arowana soon. (There will be others but Aro would be the center piece).
I'm considering 7 X 2.5 foot print vs 6 X 3 footprint with 2' height. Is one better than the other? What do you guys think?

The 7 footer will give more front view and can be placed more conveniently in my setup. But will the 6 X 3 be more beneficial to the Aro?

Both would be awesome tanks, personally I would take the 6 x 3. Love the look of wider tanks.

What kind of arowana. A 72" long tank is going to be pretty short once the aro approaches 3 foot.

if you get a jardini or a short body super red(this one is a ton of money!), you will be fine in both tank!
