Hi was thinking about doing a jd and green terror tank i do like the colors of these fish so just wundering that is an good size tank for them and how do thay get along any info would be nice cheers.

Depends on how many you're talking about and if you plan on upgrading. A 55 would be fine for a single JD and a single GT while they're young. You'll need to go to a 75+. I had a full grown male JD that was in a 55 for a little bit while I was working on his real home. When he would get worked up he could really smash into the glass. I also had a pair of JD's breeding happily in a 55.

Say you buy them at about 3 inches, then you can buy them a 40 gallon grow out tank. You could keep them in the 40 gallon until they are about 6 inches, so be ready to get them a 100+ gallon tank to make them happy. It is good to get the fish small so they both grow up together and lose aggression towards each other as well.
Here is some advice on feeding your fish, NEVER feed them live feeders since that will raise there aggression. Also feeders have no nutrients what so ever they can give your fish harmful parasites too, which will end up killing your fish. So here are some good products to feed your fish
-Tilapia
-Silver sides
- shrimp
- Bass
- Trout
- Hikari pellets
- New life spectrum pellets
Hope this helped :)
P.s if you start seeing aggression towards eachother it is probably because of there sex
So i would keep the one that you like best ( if you see extreme aggression ) and give up the other fish.

Your looking at a 125+. IMO from what i have seen and haveing GT and JD. 90 gallon (same foot print as a 75 but taller) will work for a bit. But being a 4ft tank, once the fish are adult your most likely going to have aggression. But this also depend on the fish. If you get them at the same time you might be able to get away with them in a 90 gallon. You will most like have better luck raiseing them in 125 then in a 90 or 75.

I would say 100+ if you're getting males. These fish will get too big to get live comfortably in anything less. You may try a breeding pair of either speices if you want two in a smaller tank.
