what is the minium tank size for a full grown silver arowana. will a 300 gallon be big enough. the dimensions are 96*36*24

Here is some ideas about it:

Maintenance of the dragon fish in an aquarium at home is relatively simple, if a few basic requirements are met. A 90cm X 45cm tank for young fishes up to 40cm length and 120cm to 150cm X 75cm tank for larger fishes is required. Ample space in the tank will prevent the fish from being stunted in growth.

it depends.

guessing it's a silver judging from your tankmates I would say no. the rtc WILL outgrow the tank and the tsn probably will outgrow it.

if the aro is 30" the tank should atleast be 30" wide. but you have many years with a 300. depending on the individual aro you may be good for life.

and btw, 3 times the lengt of the fish, you could GET AWAY with less but.. well.. just give it 3 times it's length.

and when you read 120 cm on fishbase or somewhere else, do not count on it getting that big, but prepare for the possibility.

i believe those cm dimensions that were from that article should be in inches. i dont think that an aorwana would like 45cm.......

The size tank you posted(which is actually a 360 gallon) would be fine for a silver arowana up tp 36" long. Would be doubtful that a tank raised silver would excede that size.

These dimensions are a fine for an asian aro. Silvers need more length in there tank size though.
