tank glass thicks 48.48.21

QUESTION; i am looking to build a tank...what about a tank thats 48x48x21??? i am thinking of using 55g and buying a new bottom that would b thicker them the other peaces???
 
thought about doing the same, the thickness for safety would be 1" -1.25" which is why i went back to the drawing board (that and a48x48 tanks would not fit anywher without blocking somehtign in my house)
 
go on to craigslist and check the listings in your area, a 125-180g tank shouldn't be too hard to come by for 200-300$ with stand even.
 
i have a 180. and i 125. its just i have 6 55g laying around want to try it . will brace it up n all. POEPLE WILL IT WORK!!!!
