I just recently purchased a 125 gallon glass aquarium. I hooked up everything and the tanks running perfect, besides for the loud sleepless gurgling sound. here are some pictures of the plumbing any help would be appreciated on how to resolve this issue.

I cant take apart the plumbing unless i cut the pvc , and i cant have anything that will slow the water from draining ( tank will overflow, previous owner screwed this tank up )
so any solution that will cause the above to happen is out of the question.

post video with audio? I didn't know that gurgling meant there's a problem.
MFK could have a loudness competition.
;-)

If the drain line drops down then has to go up again to get to the sump you will have a flushing effect. Make the drain line a smooth progressive decline to the sump input.

it is when the tanks in my room and Its so loud to the point where it keeps me from sleeping.

a silencer?

The drain line drops down, but does not go up again. its straight into the sump.

if i just aded a cap to the top of the T and drilled a hole through it, would that silence the sound and not cause the water level to rise.

it can.. you can also add some airline tubing to the hole on the cap to get the air intake down into the water stream, sometimes that quiets it up a ton.
