tank........help.....

ok there is a delhezi that i want to buy but he is too small for my 'big' tank so i was planing on growing him out... nit then i remembered i let my friend borrow my 10g for a hamster and now he wants to give me back the tank. could i still use it or would i have to clean it in a special way? thanks!

well clean it as you would clean any old tank... I have used one that way without problems...

Check the seems for chewing. If it was real small and not in there for long it may be ok. I never use a tank (small tank anyway) that has had rodents in it. Not saying they will not be just fine, that is just me. a new 10 costs 9.99....Not worth the risk IMPO...

well how would i clean the tank like with viniger water soap....?

No soap.....Vinagar is fine I would fill it with water and add a cup of bleach and let it sit for an hour or so. Scrub it and fill it three times at least with fresh water, and then take it from there.....

No prob...Just make sure to get all the bleach out and. Test, test, test,.....

Definately check the silicone good and test. I've kept a lot of rodents and they'll destroy the silicone (not to mention the top of the frame often enough) in no time.

Check ti all over like has been said, but if i were you id just buy a new one.
