Tank help

Going to upgrade soon but wanted to see what a good footprint would be for these fish
x1 Female Nicaraguense
x1 Heros rotkeil
x1 Hoplarchus psittacus
x1 Crenicichla sveni
x1 EBJD
x8 Various Rainbow Fish
x2 Clown loaches
x3 Congo Tetras
x1 Flagtail

was look at 5'x2'x2' and 6'x'2'x2 tanks. Would like some opinions if they would work in the long run in the 5 footer or if 6 footer we be better. Would like to build my own stand, but if I can find a combo cheap will just get it together. The 5' tank runs $190 and 6' runs for $300 brand new here.

Bigger is always better but the 5 footer might work.

Will the width matter much with these fish compared from 18" wide to 24" wide. Stand I have no could hold a 5' by 18"

width always makes a difference, bigger the footprint always better imo, if the 6' is in your budget go ahead and get it, you won't regret it.
